Aim of the project:
To develop the following skills: reading, speaking, listening. To introduce basic information, culture and different traditions of selected countries, search for information, to make power point presentations, give oral presentations, make a blog (develop ICT skills)

Power point presentations about these countries, flipbooks with the short descriptions of the country.

Project stages:
1. To search for the countries, where more than 90% of the population speaks English.
2.To create groups for each country.
3.To gain information about the selected 8 countries (England, The USA, Canada, Australia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Jamaica, The Ireland), which cover national symbols, geographical location, climate, religion, traditions, cuisine, costumes, culture (literature, music, sports, fashion...) and tourist attractions.
4. To prepare PowerPoint presentations about these countries.
5. To make oral presentations assessed by a qualified jury.
6.To arrange elections: "The best presented country" and to announce the winners, awarding them with certificates.
Results:
Students will get used to group-work and collaboration, develop important 21st century skills.
